In the Room Survey app, you can access Settings. In the Settings window, you can access several tabs; General, Presets, Display, Graphic, Measuring and Print.
General settings
In General settings, you can change your language or location, login details, toggle the quick start assistant, change measurement settings and manage automatic saving.
To access General settings:
- Tap the Settings icon:
- In the Settings window, select the General tab.
Note: The window opens here by default.
- Under the General tab, there are four sections:
Application
In the Application section, you can change the Language, the Country and toggle the quick start assistant using the On start up and new project drop-down menu.
Log in
In Room Survey, there is no requirement to create an account.

Units
In the Units section, you can:
- Tap the Unit System field to select the system of measurements used and tap the Measuring unit field to select the unit of measurement used.
- Enter a new value into the Max. decimal places, to alter the number of decimal places used in measurements.
- Enter new values into the Shift step length and Rotate step length fields to alter the default values.
Automatic saving
In the Automatic saving section, you can enter new values into the Saving interval, to alter the interval autosaves are made, and use the Number of savings field to alter the number of autosaves made before they are overwritten.
