In the Room Survey app, you can use Camera positions to pre-set a 2D view or a 3D view at the desired rotation, horizontal pan, zoom level and camera height and save them to make navigation quicker and easier to the desired viewpoint.
Creating a 3D custom view
In 3D view or in Presentation mode:
- Using the 3D navigator or alternative navigation controls, navigate to the desired viewpoint in the 3D view. For more information, see Room Survey: Presentation mode.
- Under the Presentation tab, tap the Camera positions icon:
- In the Camera position dialog box, tap the + icon to save the current viewpoint.
- The default name used for a new custom 3D view is 3D-view.
Enter a name in the text field at the top right of the Camera position dialog box.
- To navigate to a saved viewpoint, double-tap its name in the list.
Note: Use the ˄ and ˅ icons to reorder the list.
- To delete a saved viewpoint, select the named viewpoint and tap the Delete icon:
Creating a 2D custom view
In 2D view:
- TUnder the Presentation tab, tap the Camera positions icon:
- In the Camera positions window, tap the + icon to save the current viewpoint.
- The default name used for a new custom 2D view is Room view.
Enter a name in the text field.
- To navigate to a saved viewpoint, double-tap its name in the list.
Note: Use the ˄ and ˅ icons to reorder the list.
- To delete a saved viewpoint, select the named viewpoint and tap the Delete icon:
