In the Room Survey app, you can add symbols into your plan. For example, installation symbols for water and electricity.
| Note: This is easiest in 2D view or wall area view. |
In Installations mode:
- Under Symbols, tap the drop-downs to see various symbols.

Press and hold the desired symbol.
- Drag and drop into the plan.
You can now alter the position of the symbol and add a label using the menu located on the right side of the screen, under the headings Positioning and Symbol:
Positioning
Under Positioning, you can adjust the location of the symbol by using the icons or entering new values into the Space left, Space right, Space top and Space bottom fields.
| Note: The Shift step length field determines the distance moved when using the Move selection up, Move selection down, Move selection left and Move selection right icons. |
To delete the symbol, tap the Delete icon:
Symbol
Under Symbol, you can adjust the size of the symbol by entering new values into the Width and Height fields, enter a label for the symbol in the Labelling field, adjust the font size of the label by entering a new value in the Font size field and tap the Colour field to select a font colour for the label.
